Good nursing care is the backbone of any Tertiary Health Care Facility and the final outcome of an ailment largely depends on the quality of nursing care. At Ittefaq Hospital (Trust), almost right from its inception in late 1980s, nurses’ training has always been a top priority both for sponsoring poor families as well as producing well trained nurses ready to face advanced medical care challenges. We started nurses’BSc degree programme in year 2020 in well equipped, newly constructed air conditioned building. Imparting quality education has always been a parallel priority at IHT. I am sure the guidance, vision and generosity of worthy Director Mian Muhamamd Javed Shafi will take nurses’ training and education to still new heights in times to come. I wish Ittefaq College of Nursing (ICON) all the success and growth in future.
